There is no better feeling than meeting your newborn for the first time. You look at this beautiful little baby that you have been praying for and dreaming about for the past 9 months. The whole time you are expecting you wonder what your baby will look like, what you should name them, who they will take after. And then suddenly, they are here, earthside. Just like that all of the questions and wondering go poof! They’re gone. Your baby is here and honestly the curiosities about them disappear. You are SO in LOVE with this tiny new baby that you get to bring home. Every look they give you, the sleepy half smiles (or gas maybe?), and stinking cute yawns replace all of your thoughts and questions about who this little person might be.

Lifestyle and Posed Newborn
Little Eloise was born on New Year’s day. What better way to start the new year than to have a birthday! She was a little unsettled at the start of her session, but once she fell asleep she was out like a light the whole time.
For her session, I did both a posed and lifestyle options during this Boyertown newborn photography session (if you are not sure what these session types are you can check out my blog post here). Her mom wanted to incorporate her wedding veil during the posed portion of the session. We got this amazing overhead shot of the veil surrounding baby Eloise. I love the way it looks! Eloise also has an older 4-legged brother who made a cameo several times during the session. I am pretty sure he thought I was there to take his photos. But he was so funny and cute, check out the photos with him on the bed with the rest of the family!
